Product Overview

The WPG Combined Dissolved Air Flotation System is an advanced water treatment solution that integrates dissolved air flotation (DAF) with enhanced flocculation and high-efficiency sedimentation. By introducing micron-level quartz sand as a carrier, the system strengthens the flocculation process, accelerates sedimentation, and significantly improves contaminant removal efficiency.

With a compact and highly integrated design, this system is ideal for municipal sewage plants, overflow pollution control, and water plant pre-treatment. It ensures high removal rates for suspended solids (SS), total phosphorus (TP), and chemical oxygen demand (COD), while maintaining stable and clean effluent quality.


How It Works

  1. Dosing and Coagulation

    • Coagulants and flocculants are added to the raw water, forming flocs.

  2. Micro-Sand Enhanced Flocculation

    • Micron-level quartz sand acts as a carrier, strengthening the floc structure and increasing the sedimentation rate.

  3. Efficient Sedimentation

    • The sedimentation section achieves a surface load of 40–65 m³/m²·h with a total residence time of less than 20 minutes.

  4. Mud-Sand Separation and Recycling

    • The integrated system efficiently separates sludge and recycles micro sand for continuous use, improving operational efficiency and reducing waste.

  5. Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF)

    • Microbubbles attach to flocs, increasing their buoyancy and accelerating the separation of suspended particles and contaminants from water.
